Panchkula, Aug. 9 -- Continuing its crackdown on cyber fraud, Faridabad Police's Cyber Police Station NIT has arrested two bank account holders in two separate cyber fraud cases.
Police said one accused's account received Rs 45,000 allegedly obtained after hacking a victim's mobile phone, while Rs 22,000 of the fraud proceeds was traced to the bank account of the second accused. Both accused were arrested and produced before a court, which sent them to judicial custody.
In the first case, the Cyber Police NIT team arrested Satish, 28, a resident of Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. According to police, Rs 45,000 allegedly stolen from a victim's bank account after his mobile phone was hacked was transferred into Satish's bank account.
