Panchkula, Sept. 2 -- The Haryana State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Faridabad, has filed a chargesheet against 112 accused, including seven then revenue department officials and employees, in connection with the alleged illegal sale and purchase of 1,856 kanals and 13 marlas of shamlat deh land in Fastku Nagar village of Hodal tehsil in Palwal district.
According to a press release issued here by the ACB, PRO, the chargesheet names the then Hodal tehsildars Naresh Jowal, Manbir Singh, and Om Prakash Godara; the then registry clerks Bhagwan Singh and Bhup Singh; the then patwari Tarachand; and the then girdawar Virender Singh. The remaining 105 accused are villagers, sellers and purchasers.
