Ambala, Oct. 19 -- Ambala Sadar Municipal Council's Ward 6 councillor, Sandeep Sharma, today severed ties with Chitra Sarwara's camp and joined the BJP along with his supporters in the presence of Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij.
Ashutosh, who had contested the municipal election from the same ward as an Independent candidate, also joined the BJP at a function held at Vij's residence in Ambala Cantonment.
The inductions were facilitated by senior BJP leader and councillor Madan Lal Sharma and rural mandal president Vikas Bahgal. Party leaders claimed that hundreds of supporters also joined the BJP.
