Yamunanagar, Oct. 26 -- Acting against corruption, the Karnal unit of the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Rajni, posted at the Haryana State Enforcement Bureau (HSENB), Yamunanagar, red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 9,500 and allegedly demanding Rs 1,000 per truck for making entries of trucks carrying construction material from Yamunanagar to Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, which led to the recovery of the entire bribe amount.
According to the complainant, he and his friends used to arrange entries for trucks carrying construction material from village Buria in Yamunanagar district to Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
