Panchkula, Sept. 7 -- The State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB), Haryana, has arrested an Assistant Sub-Inspector posted at Gol Bazaar police post in Dabwali, after allegedly catching him red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000, according to a press release issued by the Bureau on Monday.
The arrested ASI has been identified as Jagjit Singh, along with Head Constable Rakesh Kumar and SPO-cum-Munshi Rajvir, who were posted at the police post and have also been named as co-accused in the case.
According to the SV&ACB press release, FIR has been registered at Police Station SV&ACB, Hisar, under Section 308(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 7 and 7A of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Moreover, ASI Jagjit S...
