New Delhi, July 10 -- India have been dealt a major blow ahead of the final two T20Is against England, with fast bowler Harshit Rana and spinner Varun Chakaravarthy ruled out after suffering hamstring injuries.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that both players sustained the injuries during the third T20I at Trent Bridge.

"The BCCI Medical Team has assessed them and ruled them out of the fourth and fifth T20Is,"the board further said in a media release.

The BCCI has not yet named replacements for either player. The latest setback comes just weeks after both Rana and Chakaravarthy returned to international cricket following extended injury layoffs.
