Bengaluru, June 10 -- Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President BK Hariprasad on Wednesday backed State Minister Priyank Kharge's demand that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh be registered under law and made financially transparent, intensifying the Congress party's attack on the ideological mentor of the BJP.

Hariprasad questioned why the RSS, which claims to be one of the world's largest voluntary organisations, has not been formally registered despite its vast network and activities across the country. He argued that all organisations handling public funds should be accountable and disclose their sources of income.
