Tridib BaparnashNew Delhi, June 10 -- Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is likely to miss the upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan after suffering a leg niggle during training at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru.

Pandya was named in India's ODI squad for the Afghanistan series, subject to receiving fitness clearance, and was expected to link up with the team in Chandigarh following the conclusion of the one-off Test against Afghanistan. However, the latest setback has cast serious doubt over his participation in the series, which begins in Dharamshala on June 13 before moving to Lucknow and Chennai.
