Hyderabad, May 11 -- Senior Congress leader and Advisor to the Telangana State Backward Classes (BC) Welfare Department, V Hanumantha Rao lodged a complaint against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Amberpet Police Station on Monday.
Hanumantha Rao filed the complaint condemning remarks allegedly made by the Prime Minister against the Congress party during a recent public meeting in Hyderabad. He alleged that Modi's comments describing the Congress as a "party of Muslims" were provocative and intended to create social discord.
On the occasion, Hanumantha Rao met Amberpet SHO Kiran Kumar and submitted a formal complaint letter seeking legal action over the remarks.
