Chandrapur, May 13 -- Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal for fuel conservation amid disruptions in crude oil supply caused by the ongoing Iran-US-Israel conflict, former union Minister of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir announced that he would discontinue the use of the police escort vehicle attached to his security convoy.

The international conflict has disrupted crude oil supply routes, impacting the import of petrol, diesel and gas in India and raising concerns over rising fuel prices and possible supply shortages.
