Bhubaneswar, May 18 -- : The Odisha Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department on Monday organised an orientation-cum-exposure programme for six IAS probationers of the 2025 batch of the Odisha cadre, aimed at acquainting them with the state's evolving urban governance and citizen-centric service delivery mechanisms.
The interactive session was conducted under the leadership of Arindam Dakua, along with senior officials and vertical heads of the department.
During the programme, the probationers were briefed on key urban initiatives being implemented by the H&UD Department in areas such as affordable housing, drinking water supply, sanitation, waste management, urban infrastructure, and technology-enabled governance.
