Hamirpur (HP), April 27 -- A group of individuals posing as government officials walked away with bottles of expensive liquor from a liquor shop without paying.
A case regarding this incident has been registered at the Sadar Police Station in Hamirpur.
By falsely identifying themselves as officers of the State Excise Department at the liquor shops, they intimidated the employees and took away liquor and beer free of cost.
Acting on the complaint, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter, an official spokesman said today.
