Hyderabad, July 29 -- The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) on Wednesday conducted an Anti-Drug Awareness Programme at RTC Kalabhavan, Old Nallakunta, to educate students about the dangers of narcotic drug abuse and encourage them to lead a drug-free lifestyle.

The programme was attended by around 1,200 students from Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions, Narayanaguda Zone.

Addressing the gathering, Vaibhav Gaikwad Raghunath, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Task Force/H-NEW/H-FAST, highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse on students' physical and mental health, academic performance, and future careers.
