Shimla, May 12 -- Governor Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday launched the 'Tobacco-Free Himachal' campaign initiated by YouVAH at Lok Bhavan, aimed at creating awareness against tobacco consumption and promoting a healthy, addiction-free society across the state.
The campaign would be carried out in all 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh under the organisation's broader mission, 'Youth for Rise-No to Drugs, Yes to Passion'.
A delegation of the organisation called on the Governor and briefed him about various awareness drives, outreach programmes and activities being undertaken to encourage youth participation in building a tobacco-free and drug-free society.
