Chennai, July 17 -- Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Friday appealed to the people of the state to regard Census 2027 as a shared national responsibility and participate in self-enumeration.
In an appeal, he urged the people to make full use of this facility and complete their self-enumeration during the notified period, while emphasizing that the Census is a vital national exercise that provides reliable data for evidence-based policymaking, efficient governance and development planning.
