Panchkula, July 7 -- As torrential rain triggered widespread waterlogging and traffic disruptions across Gurugram on Tuesday, Haryana Police launched a large-scale emergency response, deploying additional personnel, rescue equipment and senior officers across the city to restore traffic movement and assist stranded commuters.

A police spokesperson said the operation was carried out under the directions of the Commissioner of Police, with Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) personally visiting waterlogged locations to assess the situation, monitor traffic management and issue on-the-spot instructions to field officers.
