Panchkula, Sept. 20 -- Gurugram Police have intensified their crackdown on an alleged organised trafficking network after questioning of a rescued victim led investigators to a suspected key operator, Sahil of Jharsa, who was subsequently apprehended along with his wife, a Haryana Police spokesperson said.

According to the Haryana Police spokesperson, preliminary investigation revealed that Sahil was allegedly operating websites and using WhatsApp chats and other communication channels to facilitate the activities. The alleged network was operated through PG accommodations, guest houses, and vehicles, with around 10-12 associates suspected of being involved.
