Gurugram, Oct. 8 -- Gurugram Police have stepped up security around IILM University in Sector 54, following concerns over incidents of fighting on the campus, deploying an emergency response vehicle and a motorcycle patrol to strengthen surveillance and prevent further disturbances, officials said on Thursday.
The measures were discussed during a police-university coordination meeting attended by Sector-53 police station SHO Inspector Narendra Kumar and university Registrar Colonel Umashankar.
According to police, the meeting focused on incidents of fighting reported on the university premises and measures required to prevent similar confrontations.
