Panchkula, Sept. 9 -- Residents of Gurugram have reported around 44 cases of alleged encroachment on roads, footpaths, green belts, drains and other public spaces through the city's online anti-encroachment portal, with action completed in 20 cases so far, according to a GMDA press release issued here on Wednesday.
The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) said the remaining complaints were being examined by the teams concerned and those found actionable would be taken up on the ground.
The system allows residents to report an encroachment directly and upload live, geo-tagged and time-stamped photographs, helping enforcement teams pinpoint the location and make an initial assessment before visiting the site.
