Aichi-Nagoya, Sept. 25 -- Gulveer Singh delivered another long-distance podium finish while Manpreet Kaur finally broke through for a major Asian Games medal as India added two athletics medals on a productive Day Six of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games here on Friday.
Gulveer, the national record holder, produced a determined run to win silver in the men's 10,000m, clocking 28:29.38. Bahrain's Birhanu Balew claimed gold in 28:27.51, while Albert Kiptoo of Kenya took bronze in 28:34.38.
The silver extended Gulveer's Asian Games medal haul to two, following his bronze at Hangzhou in 2023. It also added another international podium to a breakthrough run that includes the Asian Championships title last year and silver at the 2026 Commonwealth Ga...
