Ahmedabad, March 2 -- Amid the recent bomb threat cases in Gujarat, state Director General of Police (DGP) Dr K L N Rao on Monday convened a high-level crime review meeting and assessed the law and order situation.
Senior officials from the districts of Rajkot City, Rajkot Range, Junagadh Range, and Bhavnagar Range attended the meeting, which emphasised strengthening coordinated action across various districts.
The DGP said the police are taking the recent bomb threats seriously. Preliminary investigation indicates that the threats were sent through VPN services, and some locations have been linked to foreign sources. Efforts are underway to identify the original sender.
