New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday participated in the 57th GST Council meeting held at Bharat Mandapam, and welcoming the reforms proposed by the GST Council, she said that the objective is to develop a tax regime in the country that is transparent, efficient, responsive, and business-friendly.
Gupta stated that in line with the spirit of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas', several important reforms aimed at making the GST system simpler and more convenient for taxpayers were discussed in the GST Council meeting.
She said that the automation of the refund process will ensure that business owners receive their money on time, which will also enhance the competitiveness of exporters.
