Hyderabad, Sept. 11 -- Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Friday said the state government was making concerted efforts to attract IT companies to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and create more employment opportunities for local youth.
Replying to questions during Question Hour in the Legislative Assembly, Sridhar Babu said the government was particularly focusing on cities such as Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Adilabad, Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda. He said the government had been approaching major companies, including Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Oracle, Infosys and HCL, to establish operations in these cities.
