Govt to investigate irregularities pointed out by House Committee in JJM works

Srinagar, Sept. 30 -- Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, on Wednesday said that all irregularities pointed out by the House Committee in implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) works will be investigated while ensuring appropriate action is taken based on the findings.

Responding to the issues raised in the Legislative Assembly regarding the report of the House Committee on alleged irregularities in JJM works, the Minister said that the government takes such observations seriously and will ensure that every complaint or allegation is properly examined.
