New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- The Centre has notified the Engineering Services Examination Rules, 2027, laying down eligibility, age, reservation and service-allocation conditions for recruitment of engineers to several key Central government services and posts through the union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The rules were notified by the Ministry of Communications' Department of Telecommunications on September 16 and published in the Gazette of India on September 17.
The combined competitive examination will cover four categories - Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - for recruitment to Group A and Group B services and posts across several ministries and depar...
