New Delhi, June 25 -- The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Thursday launched Air Suvidha 2.0, an upgraded digital platform through which travellers must disclose their recent travel history, possible exposure to infection, and any symptoms linked to Ebola.
The online portal has been rolled out nearly a month after the government made self-health declarations mandatory for international passengers arriving in India amid concerns over the ongoing Ebola outbreak in parts of Africa.
The move comes after the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) on May 17. The current outbreak has been identified as Bundibugyo virus ...
