Lucknow, Sept. 8 -- Government doctors in Uttar Pradesh will now have the opportunity to serve through reappointment until the age of 70 after retirement.
Under the current system, government doctors serve until the age of 65. On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, the Health Department has initiated the process of issuing orders regarding the reappointment of doctors.
This government decision will increase the availability of experienced doctors in the state's government hospitals, community health centers, and primary health centers.
