New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- A Bengaluru-based space startup, GalaxEye Space Solutions, will receive approximately Rs 64 crore in government funds to build a multi-sensor satellite to capture interrupted images of Earth from space, said officials from the Ministry of Science and Technology on Thursday.
The company has entered into an agreement with the government's Technology Development Board (TDB), securing funds under the Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Fund.
Officials said the grant is intended to help GalaxEye to undertake further development, engineering, testing and validation of the proposed technology, helping move the project through the critical stages from advanced development to deployment stages.
