Bhubaneswar, Aug. 18 -- Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Tuesday called for a strategic, participatory and outcome-oriented approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), urging companies to move beyond statutory compliance and become active partners in the state's development.
Addressing the Bridge Bharat Conclave 2026 and National Seminar on "Corporate Social Responsibility: Emerging Issues & Challenges" in Bhubaneswar, Kambhampati said CSR had evolved beyond charitable giving and should be viewed as a broader responsibility towards people, communities and the environment.
