Dhanbad, April 6 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Monday inaugurated the two-day IInvenTiv 2026 innovation fair at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and said such platforms were important for linking research, innovation, investment and policy.
The inaugural session also saw the launch of the Wadhwani Innovation Network Centre of Excellence and Project ReNew Surya, besides the showcasing of more than 150 innovations across sectors including artificial intelligence, healthcare, semiconductor technology, material sciences and earth sciences.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor said India's progress towards a developed economy would depend on its ability to translate research into practical outcomes, enterprise and employment.
