Thiruvananthapuram, May 28 -- Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will address the State Legislative Assembly on May 29, formally inaugurating the first full session of the newly elected Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) government led by Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan amid a politically charged atmosphere in the state.
The Governor's policy address, approved at a special Cabinet meeting, outlined the government's priorities on governance reforms, economic management, welfare initiatives, and Centre-State relations. The discussion on the motion of thanks to the Governor's address is scheduled from June 1 to June 3.
