Dharamshala, June 15 -- Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta and union Minister of State for Law and Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal on Monday launched the "Nyaya Prabodh - Awakening to Justice" campaign, emphasizing the importance of legal awareness and equitable access to justice as pillars of Indian democracy.
The campaign was inaugurated during a Regional Workshop and Reform Utsav organized by the Department of Justice, Government of India, at Government College Dharamshala in Kangra district.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Gupta said that justice, equality and the rule of law form the foundation of Indian democracy.
