Prayagraj, May 11 -- The Allahabad High Court, while making a significant observation on the judicial system, said that delays in cases are not solely the fault of judges, as the government and police are equally responsible.

The court also cited the famous dialogue from the film Damini: "Date after date. If you get it, it's only a date."The court expressed concern that without adequate staff, police support, and timely forensic reports, no judicial officer can effectively handle cases.

The court made this comment while rejecting the bail plea of petitioner Mewalal Prajapati.A single-judge bench of Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal passed the order on Monday.
