Chennai, April 1 -- As part of its ongoing commitment to the well-being of uniformed personnel and their families, Indian Army inaugurated a state of art Golden Palm Facility in Chennai on Wednesday.
A defence release said the Facility of Dakshin Bharat Area is designed to provide safe, comfortable and convenient transit as well as long term accommodation at affordable rates in the heart of Chennai for serving personnel, veterans and dependents of Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard.
It was inaugurated by General Officer Commandingof the Area who stated that the effort was a step towards enhancing quality of life for Military fraternity and upholding the Service ethos of 'Care and Share'.
