Hyderabad, May 31 -- Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today said that Goa and Sikkim stand as symbols of India's rich diversity and cultural heritage.
Participating in the Statehood Day celebrations of Goa and Sikkim at Lok Bhavan here along with his wife Janaki Shukla, the Governor said the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative was playing a vital role in strengthening national integration and fostering greater understanding among States.
Shukla highlighted the cultural, historical and developmental achievements of Goa and Sikkim and said such celebrations provide an opportunity for people from different regions to appreciate India's diversity while reinforcing the spirit of unity.
