Hyderabad, July 31 -- GITAM (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad, on Friday celebrated Achievers' Day 2026, recognising students for their outstanding performance in campus placements and higher education while announcing a strong placement performance for the 2026 graduating batch.
Organised by the university's Career Guidance Centre (CGC), the event highlighted GITAM's focus on academic excellence, industry readiness and holistic student development.
According to the university, 771 students secured placements out of 1,347 students who opted for campus recruitment, registering an overall placement rate of 60 per cent.
More than 1,000 job offers were made by 324 recruiters across the university's seven constituent schools.
