Hyderabad, June 17 -- GITAM (Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, a Deemed to be University) on Wednesday announced the launch of the GITAM School of Education at its Hyderabad campus, further expanding its multidisciplinary learning ecosystem and academic offerings.

Announcing admissions for the 2026-27 academic year, GITAM Pro Vice-ChancellorProf. D. Sambasiva Rao said the Hyderabad campus will offer two four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) from the current academic year - 'B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed.

Both programmes have been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and will have an intake of 50 students each, he said.
