Hyderabad, July 15 -- GITAM School of Pharmacy at GITAM (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad, on Wednesday said it has received approval from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to introduce an M.Pharm. programme in Industrial Pharmacy, expanding its postgraduate offerings.

With the addition of the new programme, the School of Pharmacy now offers three postgraduate courses-Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmaceutics-besides its four-year B.Pharm. programme.

In a release, the university said the new course is aimed at equipping students with advanced knowledge and industry-oriented skills in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and industrial research.
