Bengaluru, Sept. 22 -- A familiar face on the bag proved to be the calming influence Khalin Joshi needed as the home favourite produced his best-ever round on the PGTI, firing a sensational 11-under 60 in the opening round of the Bengaluru Open here on Tuesday.
With his girlfriend caddying for him, Joshi found the perfect combination of familiarity and composure at the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) course, where he has played since the age of four.
"She just keeps the atmosphere very light. She's a good line reader. I asked her two or three lines today which were key and she was spot on as well. She's just a very calming effect and I'm glad that I shot my best round on the PGTI with her on the bag," Joshi said after his round.
