Bhubaneswar, Sept. 7 -- A 10-foot-long python was rescued by forest officials near the Khola River bridge, close to Odisha's Bhitarkanika National Park, and shifted to the park's rearing centre for health observation, said forest officials on Monday.

The python was spotted in the area before being safely rescued by the forest department personnel. It has been kept under observation at the rearing centre to assess its health before being released into the wild.
