Bengaluru, May 20 -- Amid mounting geopolitical disruptions and a global push to diversify supply chains, German filtration major MANN HUMMEL on Wednesday announced investments exceeding Rs 100 crore in India, positioning the country as a key pillar in its global strategy spanning engineering, innovation and manufacturing.
The company inaugurated its Global Technology & Innovation Center at Tumkur in Karnataka - its largest development centre outside Germany - while also unveiling plans for a new manufacturing facility in Pune to strengthen its automotive and industrial production base. The combined investments are expected to generate 300-400 jobs over the next year.
