Hyderabad, Aug. 17 -- German Doner Kebab (GDK), a global premium quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand, has entered the Indian market with the opening of its first outlet at Film Nagar, Tollywood Lane, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
GBC India, the master franchise partner of GDK in India, announced the launch on Monday and said the company plans to expand the brand across the country, targeting more than 450 restaurants as part of its long-term growth strategy.
Following the Hyderabad launch, GDK India plans to expand into markets including Mohali and Chandigarh, besides other emerging Tier-I and Tier-II cities. The expansion will comprise a mix of company-owned and franchised outlets, the company said in a release here.
