Mumbai, Aug. 8 -- A large number of Gen Z and Gen Alpha participants are expected to join the upcoming Namak Satyagrah in Mulund to protest against the proposed use of saltpan land, Ekta - The Power of Youth and Unity founder-president Rakesh Shankar Shetty claimed on Saturday.

Shetty made the statement following an awareness programme held to mobilise youth for the protest to save Mumbai's 256 acres of saltpan land from being handed over for the Dharavi Redevelopment Project.

According to Shetty, the youth have been urged to bring their parents along with bicycles, skates, dance groups and painting materials to participate in the peaceful agitation.
