Lucknow/Moradabad/Meerut, July 23 -- From improving the pilgrimage experience at Garhmukteshwar to signposting Sambhal's 24 Kosi Parikrama route and preserving poet Dushyant Kumar's legacy, the latest tourism review for Moradabad and Meerut divisions has placed familiar local landmarks at the centre of a wider visitor economy.
Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on Thursday reviewed 49 proposals under the 2026 to 2027 action plan. These include 43 Tourism Department proposals, comprising 16 from Moradabad division and 27 from Meerut division, four Culture proposals and two Religious Affairs proposals.
