Kolkata, April 24 -- Taking time off his gruelling campaign for the West Bengal Assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday spent some "special moments" on the picturesque Hooghly river, a distributory of the Ganga, here.

Modi later said: "Ganga flows right through the soul of Bengal"The Prime Minister posted several photos of his morning boat ride on the Hooghly, which showed him clicking photos with his camera, as the two iconic bridges connecting Kolkata and Howrah - the Rabindra Setu and the Vidyasagar Setu - appeared in the background.

The Prime Minister, in his sunglasses, sat calmly relishing every moment of the ride, as the boatmen rowed the boat.
