Ganga Expressway opens New Tourism Highway for UP, boost to Mahabharat, Jain and Sambhal circuits
Lucknow, April 29( UNI) The inauguration of the 594-km-long Ganga Expressway marks a major milestone in Uttar Pradesh's infrastructure and tourism development, creating a new high-speed corridor that connects western and eastern parts of the state while significantly improving access to key religious, heritage and eco-tourism destinations.Developed at an estimated cost of Rs 36,230 crore, the six-lane, access-controlled expressway links Meerut to Prayagraj, cutting travel time from nearly 10-12 hours to around 5 hours.
