Pune, May 3 -- Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Pune has organised a three-day musical programme titled 'Swaranjali' from May 6 to May 8, as a tribute to legendary singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle through instrumental performances.

The event will be held at the Vishnu Vinayak Swaramandir and will feature over 25 artists performing on more than 15 musical instruments. Audiences will get to experience Marathi and Hindi film songs along with abhangs, thumris, natyasangeet and ghazals presented entirely through instrumental music, a release stated on Sunday.

According to Principal Pramod Marathe, the programme will be inaugurated on May 6 by Additional Commissioner of Income Tax Mugdha Sardeshpande. The event is open to all music lovers.
