Nisshin (Japan), Sept. 25 -- With just over a year to go until the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027, India head coach Gautam Gambhir is targeting a fully fit squad for the tournament in South Africa.
"You can't go into a World Cup half-cooked," Gambhir said in an interview on JioHotstar.
"Whether it's Hardik (Pandya), whether it's Jasprit Bumrah, they are going to be extremely important for us in (South) Africa."Hardik has not been part of the ODI squad since last year's ICC Men's Champions Trophy, having also been ruled out of the previous 50-over World Cup due to injury.
