Buenos Aires, April 6 -- Midfielder Tomas Galvan scored twice as River Plate extended its impressive form with a 3-0 home win over Belgrano in Argentina's Apertura tournament.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 36th minute on Sunday when Belgrano goalkeeper Thiago Cardozo parried away Sebastian Driussi's effort on the counterattack only for Galvan to slot inthe rebound.
Facundo Colidio doubled the lead with a glancing header after Juan Meza's cross from the right side of the penalty area.
