Noida, Sept. 26 -- Shashank Sachin Gadre held his nerve in a dramatic sudden-death playoff to clinch the Category A and Combined (A & B) titles at the 26th NCR Cup Junior & Amateur Golf Tournament, which concluded at Jaypee Greens Wish Town here on Friday.
The three-day tournament, organised under the aegis of the Delhi Golf Society (DGS) and carrying World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points, witnessed close finishes across the junior and amateur categories.
Gadre, the overnight leader, carded a steady level-par 71 in the final round to finish at seven-under 206 (67-68-71). He was joined at the top by Sakshity Pureandre, who produced a brilliant three-under 68 (35-33) to also finish at 206.
